Kokoro Dance had their 16th annual Wreck Beach Butoh Performances on the first weekend of July this year.

Identity by Yayoi theater Movement Society premiered in Vancouver in May. Identity is a production based on the life of Roy Kiyooka, Japanese Canadian artist and poet, who was interned in British Colombia during the Second World War.

Choreography: Yayoi Hirano.

Sara Davis Buechner gave an electrifying performance. February 2011

Pianist Sara Davis Buechner with Vancouver Symphony Orchestra conducted by Maestro Bramwell Tovey gave an electrifying performance of Sergei Rachmaninoff’s Piano Concerto No.2 at the Orphum Theater in Vancouver. Sara received a standing ovation by a full house audience on both evenings she performed.
